Turquoise bay with small boats and pine-covered headlands in Halkidiki

EXPLORE HALKIDIKI

Explore Halkidiki

Three peninsulas reach into the Aegean, each with its own character. Kassandra, where Petrino stands, is the closest — pine forests running down to turquoise coves, small harbours, and long sandy beaches a short drive from Afytos.

Within an hour you can swim in the lagoon of Glarokavos, sail out to the islets of Diaporos, walk the stone lanes of traditional villages, or follow the coast road to Sithonia for wilder, quieter bays. Inland, olive groves, vineyards and family tavernas set the pace of the day.

Ancient Olynthos, the Petralona cave, the monasteries seen from the sea off Mount Athos and the city of Thessaloniki are all within easy reach. Our team is happy to plan routes, book boats and suggest the beach that suits the wind that day.
